5 QUICK and EASY cleaning hacks for your home

1. Lemon and baking soda to clean stainless steel appliances.

Stainless steel appliances can be difficult to clean, but with a simple solution of lemon and baking soda,
you can make them shine like new.

Simply combine baking soda and lemon juice to create a paste, and apply it to the stainless steel surface.
Let it sit for a few minutes, and then wipe it off with a clean cloth.

 

2. Vinegar and water to clean windows.

To clean your windows effectively and leave them streak-free, mix equal parts vinegar and water in a
spray bottle. Spray the solution onto your windows, and then wipe them clean with a squeegee or a clean
cloth.

 

3. Baking Soda and Vinegar to clean showerheads.

To remove mineral deposits that can build up in your showerhead over time, use a mixture of baking soda
and vinegar.

Combine equal parts of baking soda and vinegar in a plastic bag, and place the bag over the showerhead
so that it’s fully immersed in the solution. Leave it on for a few hours, then remove the bag and run hot
water through the showerhead to clear out the buildup.

 

4. Salt to clean cutting boards.

Cutting boards can harbour bacteria and odours, but with a little bit of salt, you can easily get them clean.
Sprinkle a generous amount of salt onto your cutting board, and then use a lemon to scrub the surface.
Rinse the cutting board with hot water, and it will be clean and odour-free.

 

5. Use rubbing alcohol to clean mirrors.

To get streak-free mirrors, spray rubbing alcohol onto the mirror, and then wipe it clean with a clean cloth.
This hack will not only clean your mirrors but will also help prevent them from fogging up in the future!
